Frequent Questions

The Certified Trust in Blockchain Compliance program (CTBC), endorsed by the Internationa Blockchain & Banking Association (IBBA), validates both technical and practical knowledge in blockchain, cryptoassets, regulatory compliance, and risk prevention. Unlike masterclasses or short courses, the CTBC includes a rigorous assessment, continuous education, and annual updates to ensure professionals stay current with evolving regulatory and technological developments.

The steps are:

  • Register as an IBBA member and CTBC certification candidate.

  • Access the educational platform, including all membership benefits and certification materials.

  • Complete the interactive modules at your own pace.

  • Attend live sessions to reinforce your learning.

  • Pass the final exam with a minimum score of 80% to earn your accreditation.

After the date of approval, the certification is valid for two years, due to the continuous technological advancements in the industry. However, as a Member, you can renew your certification by accumulating 20 hours of continuing education credits within the two-year period.

The IBBA Membership is a professional affiliation that provides access to educational resources, exclusive events, and a network of experts in blockchain and regulatory compliance. It is designed for professionals in the financial, legal, and tech sectors—as well as anyone interested in staying up to date on virtual assets and blockchain technology.

Upon registering as a member, you will receive a verifiable digital ID card on the blockchain that certifies your affiliation with IBBA and consolidates your completed training. This card grants you exclusive access to member benefits and validates your commitment to continuous education in the blockchain sector.

The ACT Program (Annual Compliance Training) is an initiative by the International Blockchain & Banking Association designed to strengthen internal controls and mitigate risks within financial institutions. Its main objective is to provide key tools to ensure compliance with current regulations and prepare organizations for both internal and external audits.

This program is intended for professionals in the financial sector, particularly those involved in regulatory compliance, risk management, and auditing. It is also relevant for institutions looking to update and strengthen their internal policies in the context of blockchain technology and cryptoassets.

The ACT Program is offered in an online format, allowing participants to access the content from anywhere. The specific duration and structure of the program may vary, so it is recommended to contact IBBA directly for detailed information on available dates and modules.
